The host (she is from Ireland) is the loveliest person! And the cost is amazing. It is in a good location, right near the water. It is only very simple, but all you need from a budget accommadation. You do need a car though, as it is about 50kms from the airport and the buses aren't the best way to get around. I would recommend a car anyway if you want to see more of the island than Palma.

I liked the atmosphere. It was great because one night every week there is live music at the bur under the hostel that the owner runs and the people there they might not be young, but they definately know how to have fun!

This hostel was amazing! The owners were so nice and helpful!! Great value for the money. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

IT WAS IN A QUIET LOCATION , THE STAFF WERE FREINDLY AND THE SERVICE WAS GOOD . THE GUESTS WERE A GOOD MIX OF NATIONALITIES WHO WERE QUITE WILLING TO ENGAGE IN CONVERSATION WITH EACH OTHER
 hoices of cereal and OJ. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Two blocks from the beach. Close to the Bus stop. Fairly good deal for the money.

This place is classified as a hostal, though I'm unsure of the difference between this and a hotel. It has a small garden area, and a breakfast room and serves snacks, but not meals.
It has a very reasonably priced bar used by residents and locals, and a nice communal seating area with a large flat screen TV and internet access.
My room was on the first floor, en-suite with a balcony which overlooked the road. The room was basic but clean and cost €15 per night including continental breakfast!! OK, it isn't the Ritz, but it's the best value I've ever had. I suggest you use Travelsupermarket to search for deals as this came up with the best price for the room, along with 3 more expensive prices, one 4 x as much.
It is a little nosiy due to the solid uncarpeted floors, but I've had this in far more expensive hotels.
And the real bonus is that the British owners Ian and Breda, and staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend it if you are looking for great value.
